Introduction

The Wild Country Syncro is a versatile, comfortable and heavy duty big wall harness – ideal for long days multi-pitching, guiding or aid climbing.

Gone are the long days hanging from an uncomfortable harness while guiding, belaying or aid climbing – the Wild Country Syncro combines all the best elements of their previous designs and come up with a completely new versatile, comfortable and supportive big wall design. Made with super comfortable and breathable padding for both waist and legs, with abrasion resistant Ripstop covering, the Syncro offers a tried and tested combination of durability, flexibility and weight distribution. Another stand out feature is the use of ventilated air-mesh in the lumbar region of the waist belt, for increased ventilation. An important safety feature is the wear indicator on the reinforced lower tie-in point a feature used by Wild Country since the 1990s. To clearly indicate when it is time to retire the harness, it has red threads that only become visible after excessive wear and abrasion.

TheSyncro is equipped with6 gear loops: two rigid front loops and four softer back loops, to prevent pressure points when climbing with a pack. All gear loops are designed specifically to hold your gear and draws away from the harness for smoother retrieval. There is also a decent-sized rear haul loop that also doubles as a chalk bag attachment point, and two slots for ice tools or clippers.

With a pair of dual slide block, aluminium buckles on the waistbelt to ensure a secure, comfortable and central fit no matter how many layers you have on. plus padded, supportive leg loops with their own dual slide block buckles. Perfect if you need to get your harness on whilst wearing skis or crampons. Each of the 4 buckles also have elastic retainers straps to tuck away loose loose ends.
