Introduction

The Petzl Laser Speed Light is a super light, high-performance ice screw with integrated crank. It varies from its predecessor by way of three teeth rather than the usual four- making them much easier to place in the ice.

The ultra-lightweight Laser Speed Light is an ideal ice screw for mountaineering. The aluminium tubing, tipped with steel teeth reduces the weight considerably, while the integrated folding crank gives an optimised lever/handle, making it easier and faster to screw in. Colour-coding helps identify the length of a screw.
