Introduction

The Edelrid Zodiac II is a lightweight, well-fitting hybrid climbing helmet, perfect for all styles of climbing, mountaineering and via ferrata.

The Zodiac, with its lightweight hybrid construction of an ABS shell and EPS (polystyrene) inner, combines the best features of both mainstream helmet designs. This modern design has a deep-drawn shell that provides extra protection against side impacts. The Zodiac II, like the Shield II, has the Wing-Fit adjustment system, which we at Rock + Run believe is one of the best and most secure mechanisms currently available. The chin and neck area are free of buckles thanks to the innovative closure system under the ear. We also like how the cradle folds into the helmet, reducing pack size and helping to prevent damage while in transit. There are also integrated headlamp clips.
