DMM Aether Quickdraws

Introduction

The DMM Aether Quickdraw is ideal for alpine climbing and trad on-sighting thanks to it’s super-light carabiners and trusty 11mm Dynatec sling.

Incorporating wire gates to reduce weight but also to decrease the likelihood of freezing shut with ice when alpine climbing in frigid conditions, the Aether carabiners are hot forged. I-Beam construction techniques allow the carabiners to be lighter without compromising strength.

A secondary forging process creates a recess in the carabiner nose that houses the gate notch. This creates a smooth inner profile that prevents snagging on gear, ropes and slings. It also means the nose of the carabiner is wider than the gate, guarding against accidental gate opening caused by rubbing on rock.

With the carabiners helpfully differentiated by colour, the Aether Quickdraw allows you to consistently use the same end for either protection or ropes.
