TheBeal Joker Unicore Dry Cover 9.1mm x 60m is a super thin, multi-rated climbing rope thatmeets the requirements for all three dynamic rope standards.

Now benefitting from the latest UNICORE technology, the Joker will delight the most experienced climbers and alpinists seeking lightness, smooth running and maximum security, whilst still appealing to traditionalists seeking a multi-purpose rope for ridge climbs, or other classic, mixed or snow routes.

DryCover
Every filament in the sheath of Beal DryCover ropes is treated with a water repellent chemical before the rope is manufactured. This chemical covering is polymerised at high temperature to prolong the life of the dry treatment, thus adding to the durability of the rope. On a Beal DryCover rope, the core is not treated.

Unicore
The UNICORE process bonds the sheath of the rope to the core. This prevents sheath slippage, but also helps to keep the structural integrity of the rope if it is cut or damaged.
