Ascension SRT Footloop

Introduction

The FTC Ascension SRT Footloop is the perfect tool for ascending ropes during Single Rope Technique (SRT) work. It is easy to use and adjust, making it a breeze to get started. The footloop is also compatible with all knee ascenders, so you can use it with whatever ascender you prefer.

How it works

The SRT FOOTLOOP includes two straps:
– the upper strap, partly elastic, is equipped with a metal buckle system to adjust in length,
– the lower strap, also is equipped with a metal buckle system to adjust its length and that of the foot loop.

The upper strap is knotted to the knee ascender (not included) with a girth hitch – on the side of the smaller loop, is passed over the shoulder and clipped to the back of the harness with a carabiner (non included), then adjusted.

The lower strap is knotted to the knee ascender with a girth hitch – on the side of the black loop. Depending on whether it is tied directly around the shoe or attached to it with a carabiner (not included), the foot loop is adjusted with the metal buckle and elastics, then fixed to the foot.
