Packability

• The compressed volume in the specifications equals the difference between a fully extended and fully compressed Compression Sack. Most items will notreduce in volume by the listed ‘compressed volume’. For example, a synthetic sleeping bag stuffed into a M Compression Sack may compress down from 14 to 9 Liters.

FAQ’s

IS THE ULTRA-SIL COMPRESSION SACK?

• Waterproof?It is only water resistant. The seams are not tape sealed, and the top does not utilize a roll-top closure.

• Suitable for bikepacking?Not if it will be carried externally. If it is inside a bike bag, fine if not, the 30D fabric may be damaged by contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces. We would suggest theeVent Compression Dry Sackas a handlebar bag.

• A good choice for a tent storage bag?Perhaps. Carrying the tent canopy in your pack (with the poles under the compression straps) is a great idea. However – the canopy may not compress that much. AnUltra-Sil Stuff Sackmay be more appropriate.
