Introduction

The EdelweissLithium II is a half rope with outstanding ratio of weight to durability designed for alpinism on rock, snow or ice. Part of the ‘Perform 3’ range, it promises lighter and improved handling along with increased shock absorption.This is achieved through dedicated research and development throughout the manufacturing process, encompassing the materials used, treatment and the construction of the rope itself. With a low impact force and a high UIAA fall rating, the Lithium offers unparalleled performance in alpine conditions.

Features

• Perform 3: uses the latest generation of polymer fibres to decrease the weight of the rope, creating a better handling and performing rope. This in turn means a lower impact force, meaning it is more comfortable to take a fall. The ratio of durability to shock absorption therefore tends to guarantee the endurance of the rope.
• HD Cover: Each thread is braided individually – meaning the rope surface is smoother, wear through abrasion is reduced, and the rope lifetime is extended.
