Deservedly popularand extremely compact and lightweight, theMammut Smart 2.0features no moving parts or levers and sits perfectly in the hand. Working like a normal tubular belay device, the well designedbrake inserts interact with the belay carabiner making it easier to lock the rope in the event of a fall. Thismaximises safety for single rope lead climbing and top-roping through improved braking effectiveness. It is also easier to pay out rope faster to the lead climber due to the compact geometry.

Ideal for indoor climbing and sports climbing the Mammut Smart 2.0 provides increased safety and handling onrope diameters from 8.7 to 10.5 mm.
