Edelrid Starling Protect Pro Dry 8.2mm x 70m

Introduction

The Edelrid Starling Protect Pro Dry 8.2mm x 70m is a robust half climbing rope, with cut resistant technology and excellent handling properties.

Ropes are often exposed to sharp edges, therefore Edelrids Protect Pro Dry ropes are equipped with Protect technology for significantly increased cut resistance, the sheath is reinforced with aramid fibres using a special processing method without affecting the dynamic properties of the rope.

The Protect Pro Dry also features a near impregnable barrier to dirt and water, giving better performance in the field as well as increasing the overall life span of the rope. As with most Edelrid ropes, the Starling is also put through the Thermoshield process which massively improves the handling properties andcannot be washed out, ensuring the rope remains supple throughout its working life.
