Black Diamond – Speed 40 Backpack (2022)

Introduction

Black Diamond’s classic multi-purpose alpine sack. A great bag if you want one rucksack that you can use for everything, from summer cragging to winter mountaineering. All the Speed packs have a slim and simple design with lots of external straps and features that are all fully strippable if you don’t need them or really need to save weight.

The speed packs have been a longstandding classic of BD’s range but this seasons have been updated with a new and more durable and weather resistant fabric. Available in 22, 30, 40, and 50 litre sizes to cover a range of different objectives and all but the 22 litre version are available in a smaller and larger back back sizes.
